Pass a rule that says, if there is a complaint against the officer, and the officer’s camera/mic was disabled during the incident, then the officer is automatically found liable for the charges of the complaint.

The problem would fix itself.

yes. I’m in a 1983 case as a plaintiff. If cops were not indemnified then they would straighten up on Constitutional Violations. Many need training in case law real bad...

And any arrest made or ticket issued while the camera is down should be automatically dismissed.
