Well this appears to be a pivotal week.

And it is happening right in Texas.

America's eyes are focused there. Cruz and Perry, now is your time.

With the election in 2016 is really a stretch to predict that someone would declare by the end of the year? Hell I predict 80% of the losers from the last republican primary will announce by march of next year.

I totally love Cruz, and agree with probably 99% of what he stands for, but he won’t win a national election. He won’t be a good candidate, because he lacks the charisma/charm that’s necessary for our dumbed down electorate when it comes to a presidential candidate.

He would be a WONDERFUL Attorney General, or perhaps a solid VP candidate.

Is he any worse than GWB in that department? If he runs, I would primarily be evaluating whether he can be a candidate that can be dynamic enough to win. That would probably be the one thing that might chase me to someone else.

Remember, too, he's running against Hillary, and it's simply the more charismatic candidate. He could easily pull that off.

He’s a brilliant man quite capable of simplifying an idea so that even the simplest of minds gets it.

But don’t keep us in suspense. Who is it that has the charisma you speak of?

So who would you choose as the Republican candidate? Who is better?

After the November election, the most dangerous place on the planet will be the two rings that Democrats and Republicans are tossing the presidential wannabe hats.

Disagree. He has more charisma in his left big toe than most every other candidate. The only reason he might lose is that this country is irreparably composed of a bunch of takers who will have none of a message of personal responsibility, free markets, smaller government, liberty and constitutionalism.

My suggestion is for conservatives to ask liberals. Liberals won’t be protected from the chaos being created by the democrats. Their kids won’t be immune from ebola or any other disease brought by uncontrolled borders. Their children face the same future of slavery as ours do.

“Are you prepared to martyr your children to protect the democrats?”

If he isn’t a member of the Bohemian Grove he’ll never win it.

Any prospective GOP nominees members now?

I’m guessing Bush. But any others?

How about Romney? Perry?

For that matter, which Democrats are members as well.
