Christmas, Hollow's Eve, American Baseball, w/ peculiar Japanese culture adjustments.
noted: they've NOT been anxious to adopt any Muslim practices, the Nihon cultural
/familial traditions aren't as frayed as Western Civilization and other Asian countries.

Interesting. So it’s not just something they started doing in the last 50 years or so. Does this mean they had adopted Christmas even before WWII?
