Got a Fund Raising Email from Mitt Romney today
Email ^ | 27 September 2014 | National Republican Congressional Committee

Posted on 09/27/2014 10:25:02 AM PDT by Windflier

Fund raising email from 27 September 2014:

We’re down to crunch time, Fellow Conservative.

This is serious. With a crucial fundraising deadline only 4 days away, the NRCC needs your help to reach this month’s goal.

These goals aren’t just arbitrary numbers, they are important mile markers, indicating whether or not our conservative candidates will have the resources needed to defeat their liberal opponents.

I asked Congressional Republicans how I could help.

They asked me to reach back out to you directly and ask for a contribution of $50, or whatever you can afford today.

Month after month, the Democrats have posted record-breaking fundraising numbers. This is our opportunity to eliminate their cash advantage.

Fellow Conservative, we simply can’t afford to let President Obama win control of the House for the final two years of his presidency. The results would be disastrous.

Please chip in today and help protect our House majority.

The NRCC is the official campaign committee in charge of defeating Pelosi and her allies. They must have the resources they need to win.

Thank you and God Bless!

Mitt

Notice that Mitt lied to me in the very first sentence. He's not my "fellow conservative" by any stretch of the imagination.

Stuff it, Mitt. I'll donate directly to the conservative candidates of my choice.

I’ve gotten a couple over the last couple of days. “They” still don’t get it. If the gop-e isn’t accepting of any new ideas and initiatives, then don’t come around with your hand out.

Lately, the Republicans never seem to learn and that is one of the reasons that I left the party after being a member for 54 years.

Conservatives have become nothing more than plantation voters to the Republican establishment. The only time they want to hear or see us, is at election time, when they demand our money and our votes to keep their quisling, back-stabbing co-conspirators in office.

Between elections they ‘reach across the aisle’ and ‘get things done’ with the treason party on the other side.

They ought to be humbly asking Americans to accept their resignations - not begging for our money and votes to continue aiding and abetting the destruction of our country.

Is this the same Mitt Romney that trashed conservatives during the primary and then had nothing bad to say about Obama? Maybe he should be hitting up the Mississippi Democrats for donations.

I got one from him too, up here in Canada.
Told him to ask Thad, he has so much money that he’s giving it to Democrats.

They certainly could have found a better spokesman.

I’ve never felt the slightest inclination to give money to ANY politician.

Some suit-wearing dandy who figures he’s smarter than me and
already has a job wants me to pay so he can get a better one?

Yeah, I’m going for that.

The GOP is bombarding my inbox too, from multiple sources.

The only way that could happen is if somebody sold them my address and told them I was Republican.

This crap is too much.

Indeed.

But for the R velcroed on his sleeve, he's got nothing in common with American conservatives and patriots. As his record in office shows, Mitt is indistinguishable from any liberal Democrat.

“Whoever has the most wins!”

That appears to be the ply. The GOP has been deluging us with fundraising telephone calls and emails . Even as far as soliciting for candidates in other states. If the people in those states and this nation haven’t made their minds up and become fedup with the Liberal dems. and their agendas by now there is no hope for this country.

They’re running pre-election candidates for 2016, raising money even before any are nominated. We know that many will not even survive see a nomination apart from getting past the RINOs in the GOP party.

Any random name from the Yellow Pages would have been better (and probably more sincere).

That same thought occurred to me. I've never once emailed the NRCC, yet I get emails from them every election.

Somebody sold my name to them.

Ditto that. I donate to individual conservatives.

I haven’t received a call, any mail or an email from the RNC/GOPe in years because they got my message to go to hell.

I did the same thing the last time they called me, but I still get emails from them. Guess they took my phone number off their list, but not my email address.

If everyone who got one of these emails did that, I'll bet it would create an effect. When it comes down to it, no one but us can make them stop foisting RINOs on us.

Is there an “Unsubscribe”? Or just email back that you want no more emails from them.

Thanks to Romney’s ineffective campaign, we got stuck with 4 more years of Obama. He is just a younger version of John McCain, another incompetent presidential campaigner, neither one of whom would be classified as a conservative by any one with a brain.
