If Huffington Post is So “Pro-Choice” Why Does It Trash Pregnancy Centers?

I’ve noticed that there have been a lot of pro-abortion articles in the Huffington Post lately. From applauding a Scottish woman for having an abortion, to telling women they should share their abortion stories to counteract “abortion stigma,” the Huffington Post is a cheerleader for abortion-on-demand. And now they are writing about Pregnancy Centers.

pregnancycenters12In the Huffington Post Women, in an article titled ‘Misconception’ Reveals The Dark, Misleading World of Crisis Pregnancy Centers, the writer promotes a documentary that “combats” the deception of Pregnancy Centers. The writer says that pregnancy centers mislead women to believe that abortion is unsafe when it’s not and uses manipulative advertising to get women to visit to their clinic. The documentary claims that these clinics use medical misinformation, emotional manipulation and religious doctrine to persuade women against abortion.

However, most of the time it’s the abortion industry that manipulates women. Since they are all about their bottom line, which is to increase revenue by pressuring women to have abortions, they often don’t tell women the whole truth about abortion.

At abortion facilities like Planned Parenthood, women won’t find out that an unborn baby at 20 weeks can feel pain or that women have died at the hands of sloppy abortionists. Women also won’t find out that statistics show over 65% of women struggle with emotional side effects after their abortions or that suicide rates among women who have abortions are six times higher than those who give birth.

This is information women will only find out at pregnancy centers. Additionally, many former abortion clinic workers have revealed that during their time at Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion business in the nation, they were pressured to enforce abortion quotas. This confirms that Planned Parenthood doesn’t care about women; rather, they care about selling more abortion.

As previously shared on LifeNews, Yahoo and Google removed pregnancy centers ads from their search engines because pro-abortion groups claimed they were misleading. However, LifeNews reported that Planned Parenthood was running deceptive ads as well.

“The fact remains that abortion clinics lure unsuspecting, frightened women through their doors daily with the promise of help in time of crisis. A simple Google search for “pregnancy help” brings up an ad for an abortion clinic. The page it takes a reader to has exactly zero options for helping a woman through a pregnancy. But it does let a woman know she can come there for her abortion through the second trimester.

To call a pregnancy resource center misleading but not remove ads such as this one, which any woman who was scared and looking for help might call since it’s a top ad hit, is, at best, tunnel vision. More likely, however, it’s a bow to pressure from the squeakiest wheel, the abortion industry.

The tactics of the abortion industry have always been to lure women in with a promise of help, which ushering them toward the promise of death. Internet searches do this all the time. A search for “adoption pregnant help” on brings up Planned Parenthood on the first page of results.

Thankfully, in the United States, there are over 2,000 Crisis Pregnancy Centers. These clinics offer basic education, peer counseling, pregnancy tests, and referrals, while some are even licensed medical facilities and offer professional counseling and ultrasounds.

Because they’re “pro-choice” on abortion the same way Henry Ford was pro-choice on the color of the Model T.

They are not “pro choice” as in actually choosing amongst alternatives. They are pro choice in that they have made the choice for everyone and now everyone must accede to their Choice.

Because they aren’t really pro-choice as such. They fear that the pregnancy centers will talk someone out of having an abortion. They don’t really want people thinking about how to deal with their pregnancy situation, and think through all of the choices people have. They just want to facilitate abortion to end the pregnancy.

To a liberal, "pro-choice" means "I only support your right to choose an abortion." Just like to a liberal "free speech" means "I only support your right to agree with me."

If you want to choose life or exercise your free speech rights by speaking out against a liberal cause, then you are a right wing terrorist that should be punished.

*cough* ... What universe does that writer live in to enable him/her to conjure up that lie? At a bare-bones minimum at least one life is going to be taken when the mother goes in for an abortion. A >50% mortality rate for a 'procedure' is hardly 'safe'.

Not counting the unsafeness to the mother's mental health.

Not counting the greater propensity for women who have had an abortion to contract breast cancer at later point in their life.
