You can disagree but you're still incorrect.
RG III has been fined twice before for wearing unauthorized clothing - 1) $10K for wearing "Operation Patience" (re: his recovery from knee injury) shirt during warm-ups & 2) $10K for wearing Adidas gear during a press conference.
Also:
* Wes Welker fined $10K for wearing an unauthorized hat during a post-game press conference.
* Alex Smith threatened with $15K fine for wearing a SF Giants hat.
* Brian Urlacher fined $100K(!) for wearing unauthorized hat on Super Bowl media day.
Like to see someone pull a Jim McMahon and have someone wear a “Goodell” headband.
You can post all the infractions you wish, but I still say that if he would have had on a Allah is the light shirt not a thing would have been said.
I was in New Orleans a few weeks before SB XX on an unrelated business trip. Those headbands were ubiquitous in the Quarter. Yep, I still have mine from three decades ago.
So let RG wear the product and let him pay the fine. :-)
