The court records show Border Patrol agents working the immigration checkpoint in Sarita, Texas arrested Eric Rodriguez earlier this week.
Rodriguez was wearing his military uniform when he allegedly drove his Chevrolet pickup truck to the checkpoint. U.S. Border Patrol agents searched the vehicle. The agents allegedly found two illegal immigrants hiding in the floorboard just beside the front seat; they were using a bed sheet and Ramirezs military jacket to cover themselves.
Once in custody, the illegal immigrants, Alejandro Maya-Gonzalez and Juan Inda-Isiordia, told an agent with Homeland Security Investigations that one of the men had paid $3,000 to be smuggled north and that Rodriguez was the driver of the vehicle.

I remember a time that would’ve been regarded as an illegal act. Nowadays, this guy would get a seat of honor at the SOTU.
Maybe we should just use the Guantanimo detainees as border patrol agents...
Mr. Bailiff, Whack his pee-pee!
I can kinda predict how this goes. They will release the guy to this unit. The First Sergeant will ask him what the heck he was thinking. His security clearance will be revoked. The Army will start a full-up investigation...looking at how often he might have done this. No one in the unit is going to believe anything this guy says. His army years are finished.
A friend of mine just visited a rancher friend of his on TX border. He said that the rancher hires illegals to keep out the illegals because they are “free” to do a better job. Seems like it’s working for him.
Well, being as he’s in the military, he might end up locked up, but the illegals will get free plane tickets to somewhere that they can live free, on us!
What’s with the “alleged” B.S.?
I never could make sense of it.
What’s new? In 1973 I worked on a temp assignment with a Marine reservist NCO who actively smuggled friends and relatives across the border at San Diego. She was a favorite of the senior officers and NCOs and was already a shoe-in for a medical school slot. She was the golden girl who was as witless and incompetent as the day is long. She didn’t know what she was doing but she looked good doing it.
She openly admitted to me that she regularly smuggled illegals across the border and helped them to find ways to stay in the U.S. either legally or illegally. The commander evidently knew this as well but chose not to take action. I was only there for a few weeks but I’ve never forgotten that worthless POS because at that time VN was winding down, jobs were tight and she was helping to take away jobs from vets being forced out of service and those who were leaving at the end of their enlistment.
Some things never change.
Obama did promise amnesty to illegals that serve in the military.
Why arrest him he was only operating a shuttle for illegals they are free to travel here any time they want Obama&Co made it happen it was another job created by Obama&Co.

That is now, then (1973) the laws were actually somewhat enforced. She was here legally, her relatives and friends wee not.
Just like paying protection to one mob family to protect from another, and the rancher cannot quit paying.
That is true, but our BP and private citizens will be prosecuted if they engage any illegals, whereas the illegals don’t care. What happened to our right to protect our property?
You are not allowed to debark in an airport without your shoes on. Farmers in Guatemala frequently are too poor to afford shoes.
If they could not afford new shoes (which is likely) how could they afford to pay for plane tickets for a family of six?
Badge of Courageous Restraint award coming soon.
You and I paid for the plane tickets and the shoes.
