They assume responsibility for safety and welfare of anyone they take into custody and deny freedom.
They should leave with all the parts they showed up with.

This was cruel and unusual punishment and against our Constitution.
So pass a law banning so much as one penny of taxpayer money going towards medical care for jailbirds...if the family can’t or won’t pay they don’t get it. Bam, now it’s usual!
