thee Aurora’s I saw were very spectacular but they were clearly visible
My Aunt and Uncle oversaw a Rod and Gun Club near Grayling in the summer and fall back when I was a teenager. It was there in the extreme quiet....with no street lights for dozens of miles at least...that I first saw the aurora.
