EPA Proposed Regulation Would Significantly Hurt Access to Electricity
American Legislator ^ | 9-11-14 | John Eick

When talking about energy and environmental policy, it is a bit troublesome to watch just how recklessly big-government environmentalists unfairly and erroneously accuse individuals and organizations of the pro-free market persuasion of being “climate deniers.” Instead of engaging in thoughtful, substantive discussion, many of these environmental activists oftentimes resort to this tactic of public shaming in order to eliminate debate and to bully individuals and groups into supporting an ever-expansive federal regulatory scheme.

There is a key distinction between climate change denial and having major concerns with a proposed EPA regulation that would place a significant financial burden on the economy, grossly expand the power of the EPA at the expense of the states and threaten electric reliability while providing little in the way of environmental benefit.

Good! It’s time for those middle class LIVs who vote Democrat to feel the pain. Keep voting Democrat, and keep feeling the pain.

Congress needs to pass one simple law -

no currently operating power generating facility shall be taken offline for environmental reasons

until a “megawatt neutral” facility comes on line to replace it.

Except that we have to share their pain, too.

Anytime someone uses the term “denier” the conversation needs to be stopped immediately, and the person using the term attacked for using that word. Point out that the only other place anyone uses “denier” is re the holocaust. Say that calling global warming SKEPTICS “deniers” is a cheap ploy to associate us with neo-Nazis, and DEMAND and apology before any discussion continues. We occasionally need to display the kind of outrage the left uses at the drop of a hat.

How long before we start hearing, again, of the coming global ice age and how western capitalism is causing it?

“Except that we have to share their pain, too.”

I can survive it. I won’t like it, but to hear the morons scream and cry, it will be worth it.

Essentially the entire Executive branch of government, if not also the State Department, is being run by islamists or islamist facilitators.

This includes both Houses of Congress, but is particularly troubling in that it includes the so-called ‘conservative’ majority in the House of Representatives.

Why doesn’t the EPA just set the entire world up as a replica of the Mad Max movie and stop destroying it with a billion paper cuts?...
