How long does it take?

Its 92,960,000 miles from sun to earth. Sunlight takes an average of 8 minutes and 20 seconds so clearly we have "seen" the photons of this event. Its the charged particles that must be slowpokes.

Ok i looked it up - 1.3 million mph - so about 3 days.

I got my umbrella open and ready.

That's old technology.

About one or two weeks ago, a Nork astronaut made the trip - each way just a few hours. Good thing he went then and not today... might have run into some difficulty navigating thru this 'Extreme' Solar Storm.
