Your comment reminds me, comically, of that old 60’s era movie “The Masque of the Red Death”! The movie had Vincent Price, of course, as Prince Prospero, one of the lead characters. In it, he has a wife named Juliana, and she decides to undergo a ceremony to marry Satan. Later on, she dies. People at the house or palace, are shocked and sad when they find her. But Prince Prospero says something like: “I wouldn’t feel too badly about Juliana, she just married a friend of mine!”. You know how V. Price was, he could relay a sort-of humorous irony in many of the characters he played! He outdid himself in this one! I don’t know if you or anyone else have seen this movie, but watch it sometime and you’ll see what I mean! (and hear)
