I think I’ll go with your explanation. The alternative is too sickening.
And, here in Indiana we have a dog killed in an oven: http://www.theindychannel.com/news/call-6-investigators/prosecutors-man-put-dog-in-oven-killing-animal
Here’s to 6.5 years of him being somebody else’s bitch to abuse.
Have people gone nuts???
That is rhetorical...of course they have.
If he did this, not smart. I know somebody who got his arm mangled as a child messing around with the washing machine.
Demon skinwalkers.
No other explanation works.
Someone should tell that jerk to stop playing with his food.
He’s a witch?
No, just a run of the mill hellspawn.
The link of yours had other pet abuses. See post 30 by me (I think). I can only take so much animal abuse stories a day. It seems to never end. I dearly love my pets. I get so tired of crying for the pain and suffering of the abused and abandoned animals.
I know how you feel.
I wish I could save every one of them myself but I have neither the room or the money to bring home every sad critter I see.
I help with several breed rescues and the horror stories are never-ending.
It can break you if you don’t ‘step away’ for a while to ground yourself.
Right now, I’m inundated daily with the savagery of the Spanish towards their hunting Podencos.
It’s emotionally overwhelming.
Yeah.
Welcome to my world.
:(
This is Gypsy, a Portuguese Podengo Medio, who was dumped by her "owner", along with her sister in the northern California desert, to deal with starvation and coyotes.
It cost me over $1200 to pay their adoption/medial/travel fees, most of which was raised by like-minded dog lovers such as myself, via online art auctions.
She was rescued at about the age of 7 months but the damage done remains to this day.
Still, she is a wonderful little dog that I love dearly.
Her sister Darby lives with a friend in Omaha NE.
This wonderful woman, Beverly Farmer, rescues an astonishing number of Spanish Podencos and rehomes them, all over the world.

What she does is no less than a miracle and the woman is a saint.
Podenco Ibicencos [Ibizan Hounds] are what I have have had for 24 years and my most recent rescue passion.
Seeing the photos of them suffering guts me.
Of the 8 I have had in the last 24 years, only Djinni remains.
I had to step down from the club rescue committee or lose my mind.
I started donating art for auctions, instead.
I loathe the soulless Spaniards.
Reportedly, the FBI investigated in response to PETA's outrage.
What can be done? I love Dachshunds and adopt them. Now, I am in love with your Podenco Ibicencos [Ibizan Hounds]. Where does a person go to rescue one of these dogs?
Your best bet would be to contact Beverly Farmer via the link up ^ there.
You need to know that a securely fenced yard is *imperative*.
Podencos are hunting dogs that are extremely fast runners are high jumpers.
No amount of training will overcome their sudden desire to chase something.
Other than that one caveat, they are really great dogs.
:)
