I do love me some Sarah. However, over the past few years I am now convinced that she is just not interested in the heavy lifting required to run. I’ve also gotten irritated with her kind of teasing it.
She’s awesome, but she’ll never run for anything again.
Well I don’t think I agree, though now is not the time in my opinion, to be making that decision.
Something happened just before the 2012 race. I firmly believe Palin WAS in the race (just not yet announced), but at the very last moment, she bowed out.
Since then she has focused more on her family and making money, but she continues to spend time in politics.
That is what keeps me interested in Palin.
Now I will admit, I have been a Palin fan from the beginning. I decided I wanted McCain to choose her before he did, in 2008.
I have never waivered in my support.
(although 2012 when she bowed out, that was a real shock)
What I am saying however is, I don’t believe it is time now to be counting Palin out of anything.
Sure if she doesn’t run for the Presidency next time around, then I’m going to stop supporting her.
But that day hasn’t arrived yet. I believe we’re a year away from knowing whether Palin is something we should just discuss in the past tense.
I think she’s still in it.
She’s certainly making lots of money. I believe she’s preparing for a re-run myself.
