Just two months until the next election, then it's on.

Good, but now we need to convince a whole lot of RINOs to run so they moderates don’t give us another Mcain or Romney. This time their vote needs to be split.

He’ll make a great attorney general.

Let’s put it this way... if you’re not gearing up now, you have no chance to jump in later and have any kind of shot. You can always choose to not run, even after laying the groundwork. It’s hard to lay the groundwork if you suddenly decide to run.

Cruz control 2016.

Hate to place my faith in anyone, it’s typically asking for trouble.

Still, I’d place my horrifically devalued dollar on Cruz over the entire lot.

Apparently Cruz and Paul are making enough waves that the media now thinks it’s
necessary to bring their fathers into the campaign mix.

Media are already trying to label him: Firebrand

Firebrand?

The GOP hasn't had one of those in ages. Firebrand sounds better than the mussy-middle-of-the-roaders the GOP usually has running.

I wish he'd campaign for the Majority/Minority Leader job, instead, and I wish/hope/pray his ego is wired for that job instead of like the kind that often runs for POTUS.

The Republicans need to keep and gain members in the Senate and somehow get that place running on Constitution power like it's supposed to and, so far, Cruz says the things that suggest he might the best Senator for that job.

He could potentially be there quite a while, just like the forever elected dinosaurs have been, which is good, since it will take some time under a Constitutionally adept hand to re-power that place as intended.

That's where he's needed and it sure looks like he's qualified and he's in place.

The presidency, however, now more than ever, needs an experienced manager with success as both leader and reformer in a politically hostile environment.

For the Presidency, we would do well to pick from a list of successful Governors, business people, career military, even winning head coaches. Age, life experience and the wisdom that comes from it are required, especially so now!

To reform and restore, we need the symbolic "born and bred all-American successful leader even in the most difficult times" President, because that is exactly the sort of times we will face thanks to the many progressive messes we've elected to rule over US election after election.

He is probably running ror 2020 or 2024. You don’t make it by starting your run in the couple of years before you would be elected. Reagan didn’t. Serious contenders are lining up their supporters and doing favors for two terms or more before they are truly in the running. Then there is Obama. But Cruzz is certainly not a stealth candidate and the analogues of the forces in the Democrat Party that put the Moslem over, in the Republican Party prefer leftists and leftists disguised as “moderates.”

I hope he’s running. If he can get in decisively, it may keep the other conservatives out so that we can split the RINO vote in the primaries instead of splitting the conservative vote.
