Was there a post about Tech companies eliminating the second beheading video from the web? Cannot find it. Help
I thought I saw a post about how the second beheading of a journalist was eliminated from most American sites. As someone who strongly believes that Americans should see the atrocities that Islamics are perpertarating on others, I was stunned and wanted to follow that thread. Please if someone could provide the FR url?

search Silicon Valley in title . .
Something ‘Silicon Valley’ something
It’s also censorship.
Horrible videos, yes. Propaganda, yes.
Beware what precedent you set in addressing them.
You are correct, but I am certain their motivation was to protect The One’s bony brown arse.
While I understand that some really do need to see them to face reality I really despise the people who feel a need to repeatedly inflict them on all of us again and again and again.
Know your enemy.
No as a matter of fact the families do not “have say.”
Nor should they.
This is war. War is ugly.
Death is real, no matter how great some people wish to deny it.
there is precedent to “censoring” enemy propaganda in time of war
however,
this isn’t government censorship
let’s give “Silicon Valley” a bit of credit for maybe being decent and indignant, and of refusing to allow its technology to be used by an enemy propaganda machine to humiliate the victim, his family, and his country and of being used to recruit and inspire more muslim sickos, maybe right here at home
they are doing the right thing even if for the wrong reason,(to cover obama’s bony butt)
gee then why aren’t we getting photos of body parts after our troops are destroyed by IEDs and air crashes in Afghanistan?
your argument is the same ones used by hypocritical libs to justify photographing caskets returning to Dover from Iraq (note how that stopped after nobama assumed power)
he11 why not just broadcast the autopsies too
yes we do owe the families respect and yes they do have a say about their loved ones being used in beheading instruction videos
my 16 yr old daughter was shown this video yesterday in school
mercifully the damdum teacher stopped before the butchering part
I disagree, these videos need to be seen by every non islamist in the world. They need to be overdubbed with an explanation of what happened and what philosopy backs this behavior.
Everywhere.
Beware the Left’s mastery of “one-off solutions” (my term, open to suggestions): they know that X is illegal and/or outrageous, but they’ve learned that Y, very slightly different from X, will be tolerated or even embraced - and that’s good enough for their cause. Government can’t censor politically embarrassing media content? have well-connected technology pals do it “privately”. Can’t outlaw gun dealers? have private-sector bankers cancel their accounts as “disreputable activity”. Can’t wiretap everyone via warrant? have NSA agents quietly meet with “network backbone” providers, talking them into “voluntarily” installing always-on taps. Invading a country would elicit international outrage and invoke full-scale war? send elite troops in without insignia for initial dirty work, let the world be baffled, and when it’s irrefutable then send in more grunt troops (also without insignia) as “voluntary activity on their own personal time”.
Believe me, I don’t want to defend that video’s availability in any way. Problem is, if I don’t then it’s a short step to declaring other media “indecent propaganda” and censoring (by other means) our side. Just because it isn’t official government activity doesn’t mean strings aren’t being pulled to make it happen.
We should counter-advertise by saying "THIS is what happens to Islamic terrorists" and then show 'em a film clip of the 1940s movie 'The Real Glory' (at 5:12-8:00 - fun begins at 6:57).
Perhaps even an assorted selection of pigskins with the note that these are waiting for the next bunch we capture.
