On June 24, 2012, the body of Shane Todd, a young US electrical engineer, was found hanging in his Singapore apartment.
The Singapore Police say it was suicide, but the Todd family believes he was murdered.

... Shane told his family that he was being asked to compromise US security and he feared for his life. Shane refused to do what he was being asked to do and turned in his sixty day notice at IME. Shane found a good job with a company in Virginia, and bought a ticket to fly back to the US on July 1, 2012. Shane was killed late June 22nd, or 23rd, right after his last day of work. The family believes Shane was murdered because he refused to become involved with the transfer of illegal technology to China.

I watched the story. That the detective had accessed the IME folder only on the dead man’s computer AFTER he died says a lot. Also, very suspect suicide notes, the fact that he had already packed etc. I’m convinced he was murdered.

It is really amazing/frighting what Chinese agents get away with.
Routinely, bribing politicians with laundered campaign donations (i.e. Bill Clinton), industrial spying(both cyber attacks and using human spies, National security hacking,etc.
It seems like no one bats and eye, when a Chinese American citizen is accused of transferring sensitive military secrets to the Peoples Army.
It is aggravating but predictable how the MSM will ignore the persecution of Christians in other countries.
What is remarkable and inexplicable, is how news sources and commentators (not on the Left) who do condemn these persecutions, seem to ignore and downplay the constant, large scale aggravated persecution of Christians in China.
The daily arrest of Christians and the occasional execution, go largely unreported and rarely focused on by the right, as well as the left.
On any given weekend the Chines Communists can arrest several hundred Christians, while hundreds of Walmarts in the “Bible Belt” can be filled with after church shoppers buying massive quantities Chinese goods.
There are chinese agents everywhere. I’ve been visted by them a couple of times here in the US, and they have tried to steal proprietary information from me. They left with false info, so I’m sure they were scratching their heads for months trying to get it to work. LOL.
