What ever happened to the Golden Rule?

Shouldn’t Mexico expect us to act towards immigrants the same way they do?

Maybe rich Mexicans should have restricted US property rights, the way Americans do in Mexico.

So, Mexico, how many slackards, child molestors, aging hippies and hopeless druggies can we send you in return?

And muslims.

I couldn't care any less about your opinion, Enrique Pena Nieto. I will say this though, you should fix your own effed-up Country and quit worrying about ours.

I just don’t see how that would be legal, but I guess legality is Obama’s least concern.

I use to take a lot of vacations in Cozumel. If I were to caught without papers even sun bathing I would be arrested, jailed, and immediately deported. That’s just for not having my passport on me at all times. You didn’t have to worry really because the cops knew all the gringos were tourists and didn’t harass anyone. But no more Mexico for me.

Exactly. And any other Americans being held there.

The sad part of this is that I am inclined towards open borders with Mexico, provided that everything is EXACTLY EQUALLY RECIPROCAL in every way.

But Mexican leaders are so stupid that they turn even me off and make me so angry I’m ready to have a war with them. If they can p!ss me off to that degree, imagine how angry the rest of America is, including a lot of Democrats?

This is going to come to a head really soon.

Years ago, people from Mexico would come over here, make money, and then go home. They didn’t bring their entire families here to squat because we didn’t offer them free healthcare, education and welfare. There was no incentive.

Exactly. And Americans should be able go to Mexico, make money and come home. Equal, equal.

Mexico is a very rich country in opportuniity and Americans could make themselves and a lot of Mexicans better off if we were allowed equal access to their opportunities as they are to ours.

Now that it is mandatory to educate the kids, provide healthcare, etc., it would be very hard to make things equal.

Let Americans have a crack at it and we could whip Mexico into shape in 10 years.

It is not necessary to disparage the Mexican people, who are entitled to pursue their own cultural values in their own lands, to understand that rooted Americans have absolutely the same right: To preserve the ethnic heritage of the Founding Fathers in America. Incidentally, that heritage was once a magnet that drew like minded people to America, prior to the policies of betrayal from FDR, through LBJ, Clinton & Obama, which have completely corrupted the images of American culture, drawing a vastly different type of immigrant, now pouring over our borders.

The myth of contemporary American dependence of ever more immigrants into our ever more crowded population centers, reflects a lack of in depth analysis of such things as what is involved in the very concept of a community; what has always been the defining quality of a nation; what actually makes for a contented society, able to address problems in a constructive manner, and build a better future. (It is certainly not about "diversity," in the insulting way that the Left uses the term.)

The Mexican President & California Governor are prattling the same silly--and very destructive--nonsense, as that offered by George W. Bush in 2006. (See Reply To President Bush on Immigration.)

As pointed out, Thomas Jefferson recognized the profound cultural differences between American Society & the Hispanic societies to the South, and purchased Louisiana, precisely for the purpose of providing the original States with a buffer. It should outrage all of us, that none of this generation's American "leaders," will even discuss the question from a standpoint of preserving our heritage.

Gov. Jerry Brown does not have the brains to even be trusted with Jefferson's brief case. This whole photo op is a travesty.

Without the money being sent to Mexico from the US illegals, Mexico would have had a revolution long ago. Walmart is the problem. Attack Walmart, that is where the illegals send their money orders thru. If you needed one reason not to shop there, now you have it.

What confuses me is the third world is perceptive enough know they want to get here to enjoy what western culture has created - why aren’t they intelligent enough to not destroy it once they arrive?

I have tried to explain to people that claim that we stole their land and want to reclaim Aztlan, that it is not the land that made us prosperous, it is our laws and culture. They don’t get it.
