“There are quite a few myths that women hold regarding what is attractive.
Tattoos
Fake Breasts
Pixie Haircuts
Pancake Makeup
High Heels”

I would add face lifts and fillers. Often botox looks strange. All unnatural looking.

For years my mom went to the beach with a reflector and a tube of iodine and baby oil and tanned. Winter or summer, didn’t matter.

go out in the sun for a few days, you'll feel better

I concur. The time of day, length of time, and where to be out in the sun depend on a person's skin type. I inherited my skin from Eastern European peasants. I'm at my healthiest with a good tan from sunning away from the ocean.

I don't know if I'm more wrinkled than I would have been without tanning. So what? I'm in shape, I'm healthy, and I'm active.

If I want to get a tan at a tanning booth, I should damn well be able to get a tan.

The proper way to get tan and vitamin D is do it gradually, let the body build pigment. No stinkin sunscreens, just take your shirt off when working outside.

I cannot, absolutely cannot stand laying on a beach or in the sun.

But, I do find that 5-10 minutes a week at the tanning salon beats back my excema.

Maybe I could start eating Dinovite but heck, that’s for the dogs...

I agree with you about gradually building a tan, except for some skin types. But even they need a healthy dose of fresh air outdoors on uncovered skin.

So many of my peers who have problems with crumbling bones and needing hip and knee replacements. I can't help but wonder if it's because they've been staying out of the sun, for decades.

I turn 51 in two weeks and rarely does anyone guess my age properly.

My little brother, who turned 50 is now constantly looked as the older brother, until people notice the difference in reasoning and grammar...

Don’t know if we are just genetically blessed. I can’t think of a single relative who has wrinkles or died of old age with anything but the barest of wrinkles.

I have however used womens skin care products since I was a teenager. There are now mens products but, they stink and I figure if a certain product is good enough for a woman “Heck, I’ll use it”.

I do think, however, I was an anomaly as a child in regards to eating habits. I love veggies. All of them, except for gross eggplant and the only way to fix eggplant is fry it, like okra.

veggies are chock full of antioxidants and H2O which are awesome for your skin.

Skin beauty starts with good eating habits, a bit of scrubbing and a bit of exercise

Okay, your list was fine til you got to high heels.

Nothing like the shape a womans calves take when wearing high heels.

Only thing that tops that are tight blue jeans and cowgirl boots...

LOL

I tell that to my wife often. Pixie haircuts look attractive ONLY to other women. I don't want to look like I'm hanging around someone's little brother.

...and yes, hi heels. The heights of those things are beyond ridiculous now, they are not good for a woman's feet, and women look goofy trying to walk in them. It reminds me of the foot binding that the Chinese endured for centuries. Its all part of the fake culture. Nothing can be real anymore. Fake from head to toe, literally.

I’m a woman and think high heels are fantastic.

I'm a man, I think they do as well. I also have no problem with fake breasts that have been done conservatively. As for pixie haircuts, what is wrong with a little neck showing?
