I pulled one of the three Trinidad Scorpion plants since we are over supplied with these little devils, plus the other varieties can use some more sun light in the raised beds. The little dehydrator works well on the sliced peppers, turning them into little poker chips for storage.
I've frozen jalapenos for winter chili and harvested about 100 paprikas, now dried and ground into powder for future use.
Son from Seattle spent a week with us and we made Poblano/portobella burgers which were excellent.

We're gathering about a dozen nice Roma and other tomatoes every day. Making sauce and pico w/ some poblanos.

Cukes are done.
Squash produced about one dozen nice keepers, then quit.

“The little dehydrator works well on the sliced peppers”

I dehydrated Habbies a few years ago. Gave them to friends in small jars with a “Caution! Radioactive Material” label.
For a spicy stirfry, Put some oil in your wok, get it hot, and add the dried peppers. Stirfry them until they turn black. Take them out, cool, then crumple, and add to your stir fry. Wonderful hot, smokey flavor! DO NOT INHALE ANY OF THE WOK SMOKE!
