I was a prime candidate for a knee replacement when my doctor - a good friend - said “Loose some damn weight and see what happens.” I went from 212 to 190 - that’s been 8 years ago; the knee is fine.
Such a shallow remark. Well, gee, I cannot imagine how this poor guy could have gained weight since he only lost his foot and was forced to be immobile for quite some time.
