“Threatening posts” do not in a sensible world justify a SWAT raid. If they had politely served their warrant, searched, and found nothing, that would not have been a problem with the foolishly unsecured network. The route they took clearly justifies a lawsuit.

Which could have been ascertained with a couple of mouse clicks to determine network and status. If unsecured, at least my archaic version of windows will tell me that--but then any wifi device could have accessed the network without even knocking on the door--including one in the hands of the police, and determined it was unsecured. You just have to be as smart as the phone...

95% of everything SWAT seems to do in your country is unnecessary. And when they do that, they do it against the helpless. There is no way they would do this against a serious city gang or one of the cartel franchises.
