It looks like the Austin area is once again the worst of the worst when it comes to Chicago violence. Lots of very rough neighborhoods there, IIRC - Humboldt, West Garfield, etc.

Will be interesting to see how the press handles the lies of statistics, without making the fairy princess look worse than he is.
Quick look says west has lots and south has almost as many.
The south side and the west side are the major ghetto areas of Chicago.
Though there are many other pockets of bad neighborhoods as well.
I’m not surprised to see the south side and west side so well represented in these reports.
