Gates will make up for it big time from Common Core

Wife has a Surface 2 and loves it. It’s an incredibly functional laptop replacement. My next “mobile” device will be Surface Pro 3.

WARNING: Here’s why like my Surface 3.

I’ve had it for a month or so and I like it with a capital like. I bought the keyboard cover but get along without it very easily most of the time. For instance, I am handwriting this message at my normal handwriting rate. It has learned how I write and keeps up with me... crossouts, writeovers and all. Other than that, it’s a great windows 8 PC with an iPod-like alter ego.

I’m not unhappy about the price drop. To me, it’s worth what I paid.

Two of my colleagues have them and love them. I find a screen that size a little small for full HD, myself - without adjustment the default font is tiny - but it’s a nice tidy package and travels well. When the ultrabook finally dies I might just take the leap. BTT

They are pretty kool and beat tablets...but cost a lot. Surface pros have real processors in them, not these tinker toy snapdragon processors

Still too expensive. You can buy a real computer for less.

Picking up mine around Christmas. Can’t wait. No more carrying a laptop and an Ipad. Very much looking forward to it.

Dear MS. it is a good product but it is not worth that price with all the FAR FAR FAR less expensive “same as” products.
