LOLO - A man is in custody Sunday after leading law enforcement on a high-speed chase Saturday evening just before 6:00 PM.

Montana Highway Patrol attempted to pull over the man who was driving a motorcycle heading south on highway 93 driving at about 85 miles-per-hour.

When pursued, the man kept driving and began weaving in and out of traffic, hitting speeds as high as 140 miles per hour.

He should move to Fl. I’ve seen motorcyclists go that fast on I95 on more than one occasion

The problem with these guys is when they crash at that speed, most of the organs are not re-usable.

If he had been riding a Suzuki GSX1300R Hyabusa he would have been able to hit 190mph instead.

lolo?

ballsey. if you wipe out on a motorcycle going 140, there is not going to be much left to bury. I wonder how the cop managed to keep up, and I wonder how much danger the public was exposed to by the fact that he tried.

I lost a side view mirror to a motorcyclist passing me while white-lining. I though he was going to lose it but managed to stabilize and keep going. Not sure if he hurt his right hand but no blood on my car.

the plus side is that cleanup just requires spraying down a pavement stain.

I did 160 on 2 lane Hwy 1 north of Santa Cruz.
Of course I was much younger and dumber.

It was fun passing 10 RV’s uphill.
