A few years ago, I saw a show on cable about a man that worked the fields to catch rats in India. Not sure if he got paid a small amount, but he got to keep all of his catch for food for him and his family.

And yet Air India is still flying while TWA is a memory.

Yes, and that seems unfair, although I doubt that fairness plays into it.

He now owns the largest chain of Chinese restaurants in India.

Lol...it’s a wonderful rags to riches story. ;)

Same here, never again. Thank god they got dropped as an approved carrier for us. Taking British Air and Jet Air this time around.

What? Let me try that again.
I have no desire to visit any flies-on-your-face country.

I have found that they are all pretty much the same in the back.
If you can swing a seat up front you will find a huge difference.
On overseas flight I have some limited experience in business class.
I would rank British>American>Lufthansa.
Lufthansa is way overrated, IMHO.
In a couple weeks I will be flying US, Swiss and Eva in business class. Looking forward to trying them out.

I'd love to fly business or first class, but I'm happy to get an aisle seat these days. Please let me know how you rate your flights on this trip, if it's not too much trouble.

My memory isn’t what it once was, if I remember to do so I’ll let you know my impressions.
One thing that is pretty cool is that EVA allows you to preorder meals. I choose rack of lamb.
Oh, and I’m not spending my children’s inheritance. I am compulsive about collecting frequent flyer miles and cashing them out on high dollar flights.
