That’s what I thought. But then again, I can’t seem to get enough of Trent Gowdy when somebody he’s questioning gets him hot under the collar.

Did a little research.

The hearing was about if a special investigator should be used to investigate the IRS.

The democrats brought in the law professor as their expert witness, to make the case that the DOJ should perform the investigation instead.

Gowdy made the case, quite well, that this administration is so heavily biased that it couldn’t possibly conduct a fair investigation. The law professor clearly didn’t want (and couldn’t) defend the actions of this administration.

Seen in that light, Gowdy was brilliant. He must have known that this would be a MSM sound byte so he presented his point in terms common people could understand. His anger exemplifies how ridiculous it is to think that this administration could possibly be fair.
