JERUSALEM - Despite Israeli casualties and world criticism, a near-consensus in Israel supports the government's conduct of the Gaza war, views Hamas as the aggressor and considers outsiders' moralizing as hypocritical, ignorant or both.

Israelis have been suffering from rockets from Gaza since about 2000. That means 14 years of bombardment! Where was Ban Ki Moon then? UNWRA MUST be disbanded as this war has shown that every single UN facility is a terrorist nest or weapons storage facility. ENOUGH is enough, go Israel! Everyday more Muslim Arabs die at the hands of their brothers all over the Middle East and Africa than the Israeli "restraint" warfare. Screw 'em all, damn the hypocrisy!

The Israelis have every right to be fed up.

I wonder why the Palestinians don’t get tired of it as well and boot Hamas?

They overwhelmingly back this war because also prefer to not be exterminated. They’re fighting for their homes, families and lives.

The Paleostinians in Gaza VOTED for HAMAS to take over from FATAH in a DEMOCRATIC election, monitored by Jimmy Carter and pressured by the United States. THE PEOPLE OVERWHELMINGLY voted HAMAS into power for 2 reasons:

1) They wanted (like America), “CHANGE”.
2) They wanted a much more hardcore, violent Paleostinian approach to Israel.

After the elections, HAMAS murdered and expelled the remaining PLO (FATAH) representatives from all of Gaza. The Chicken sh*t FATAH members RAN AWAY to Ramallah, on the West Bank, lucky to be alive. Was there any major world criticism about the bloodletting in Gaza? Of course not, Arab killing Arab is not news, it's standard fare.

In other words, the Gazans CHOSE HAMAS of their own free will.
They KNEW HAMAS would step up it's plans to kill all the Jews in Israel.
They KNEW weapons were being smuggled in via the tunnels in Egypt and from Cargo vessels from the sea.
They KNEW HAMAS was digging tunnels to attack Israeli communities.
They KNEW weapons were being stored in schools, Mosques, sports centers, kindergartens, and UNWRA facilities.
They KNEW that missiles, aimed at Israeli population centers were being fired from crowded, civilian packed places.
They KNEW that many UNWRA employees are terrorists wearing blue.
They KNEW that HAMAS uses them as “Human Shields”.
They KNEW why Israel and Egypt began the Blockade of the Gaza strip.IN ORDER TO STOP THE FLOW OF WEAPONS
They KNEW that HAMAS (and before them, PLO) TV and radio are controlled by HAMAS who spew hatred and genocide against Jews on an hourly basis.
They KNEW that their school children often times went to witness Kassam rocket launches towards Israel, sometimes standing within 10 meters of a rocket launching team.
They KNEW that most of the construction materials smuggled into Gaza were NOT going to schools and other civilian projects but rather to building attack tunnels.

Given the last 7 years of the HAMAS build up, KNOWN BY ALL GAZA residents, what were they thinking??? That one day, Israel would DEFEND ITSELF from murderous designs and planning of their elected government??????
Now, FINALLY under assault in a DEFENSIVE war by Israel, they scream to the UN and Europeans, “WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO US” and “WHY G-DAMN IT, DO THE ISRAELIS HAVE THAT IRON DOME SYSTEM, PROTECTING THEM FROM OUR ARSENAL THAT WE BUILT UP OVER THE LAST 7 YEARS???? WHY OH WHY ALLAH CAN'T WE KILL THE JEWS LIKE WE PLANNED?? WHERE IS THE UN TO BAIL US OUT FOR THE 44TH TIME????WEEP, WEEP, WEEP.

Israel, keep doing what you’re doing and tell the naysayers to go to H-e-double hockey sticks.

I don't know. Perhaps Hamas believes In gun control, so the people have nothing to fight with.

Israel has to understand that her haters will still hate her no matter what she does...So they might as well go for total victory.
