I don’t find any prophect that talks about a “mark of mammon” either. In any case, the “mark of mammon” they show in the article has only one circle, so whatever that mark on the kid is, it has nothing to do with the symbol they’re showing.

There is prophecy about mark of the beast... doesn't mean this specific mark fills that role but there could be a connection of sorts... if you want to split hairs and further discount this as a "mark of Celtic Cross", which has absolutely no religious reference then good for you... I am not here to convince you of anything.

Personally, I find it interesting that "the Symbol of Mammon — the sign of the Devil’s first born" appears on a child in Britain at a time when the... Church of England will consider getting rid of mention of the devil in its baptismal ritual.

But I am not here to convince you about that either - which at least is making sense "...Assuming it has some supernatural origin..." than your non supported Celtic Cross idea.

The mother in this article said people are telling her... “it’s the Symbol of Mammon — the sign of the Devil’s first born”.

She didn’t say people are telling her... “it’s the Symbol of the Celtic Cross”.

But you are free to keep running interference for Satan... you might want to consider if that is going to work out well for you...
