What a moron, if the report is correct, who was definitely disorderly and I agree that DCFS should look at this man regarding his children's welfare.

But in a way it disconcerting to me and I wonder how that how far could this go with police arresting you, for, while in public using loud or profane speech which annoys people?

Good for her. I'm tired of people using foul language in public, in front of children, all the time.

If you treat your own kids that way in public, there is no way you are a decent parent in private.

Those are the actions of someone who is mentally ill.

What he said falls under the definition of menacing in most jurisdictions.

That guy has a small cranium.

Just my opinion.

As much as I dislike the behavior, ARRESTED? I assure you that I am assaulted daily with what I consider unacceptable behavior from a great variety of people. But I don’t call the police.

i seem to recall a case a few years back when this guy was arrested for cussing on a whitewater trip. the case was eventually thrown out on free speech grounds.

but this guy was bullying his own kids (who wants to be one of his kids?), and he tried bullying this woman. im glad she stood her ground, this might be the signpost that this guy needs to get his act together.

and i’m curious as to how many people who are defending this guy would do so had he been black? or muslim?

they’ve had decency/obcenity laws forever regarding cursing. local laws. nothing new. localities have always been able to set what they consider obscene behavior.

It’s too bad the woman didn’t have the manager to ask the man to stop his bad language and threats to his children. It would have been safer.

A while ago I was at a restaurant and two men, with their wives, no less, used the F word a lot. Probably more than 20 times. Very loud. The manager was very polite. He went to their table and said when it was convenient could they come over (outside that room) to talk with him. The men knew exactly why they were being asked and stopped the bad language immediately.

I don’t like the government interfering with child raising but I suspect this bozo beats the hell out of the poor kids. His wife too, probably.
