Here are a few. Some of the composers were born in the 19th Century, but wrote well into the 20th. #1. Gabriel Faure’; The Pavane Opus 50, with Flute and Orchestra.
#2. Faure; Requiem, Op. 48.Edvard Grieg; Norwegian Peasant Dances.#3. Gustave Holst; The Planets Op 32., In the “not really classical” group you can add #4. Philip Glass, Koyannisqatsi (Minimalist). #5. Weather Report; Birdland (Jazz).
