Lived in New England since I was born, but I’m 90% Southern. I think I need to move!

95% Southern. I'm pretty sure they didn't like my answer about "Bless Your heart".

It does mean that the person wants good things for you. That may well be because you're an idiot and you need it. But it could also be because you're in trouble and you need it. Or something's bad happened to you and you need it. Or you just need it for any number of reasons Or maybe you've done something nice for someone.

Well I'm 100% Southern, as I tell everyone I was born way south of the Mason Dixon Line. Any farther south in California I'd be a Mexican. I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night.

I always thought it stood for National Association of Stock CAr Racing.

I can remember when you could tell in an instant which was the Ford, Chevy, Plymouth or Pontiac. Whichever won Daytona gave the kids whose parents drove that make, bragging rights for the year.

77% Southern; 25% NYC. I’m ashamed of the latter: way too high.

74%, which makes me just as Southern as General Ronald E. Lee or Stonewall Johnson! Well, I've spent time there, anyhow. This Northwest boy probably owes a great deal to migrating post-bellum Southerners, and I will say that I cannot return to South Carolina because one of those ladies saying "Chaaaalston" turns me into a puddle of goo.

I have a good friend from Baaahston who married a lady from Alabama. The accent their children are likely to inherit may form a linguistic black hole and suck us all into it.

If you’re ever out around Fredericksburg this time of year or slightly earlier you can pick them yourself. IMO theirs are the best of any grown anywhere.

Great very, very small Italian restaurant in Bandera, Texas. Everything there is fresh and made from scratch and they have the world’s best fresh Peach cheesecake. We’re going to Bandera in a couple of weeks and just hope we’re not too late to enjoy more.

77%, which figures, since I was born and raised in Southern California.

I once knew a girl from Chester, South Carolina. She was a real beauty but I just loved to hear her talk.

When I first asked her where she was from I literally could not understand her. It sort of sounded like she was saying Shaaastuh. I finally got her to spell it.

I was born and raised in the Florida Panhandle but when I lived in Western, Kansas, people were all the time asking me if I was from Texas. A different accent from South Carolina but both are still Southern.

I scored 85% but I spent a lot of summers in Alabama and so know about Piggly Wiggly, lightning bugs and sweet tea on a hot day.

Several of the answers could definitely cause disagreement among southerners. Not all cut and dried.

We don’t have piggly Wiggly up here but we do have lightning bugs. I’ll pass on the sweet tea.
