I think it’s a great idea.

I think it is a pretty good idea as well.

But there is a bit of charm in batchelor party that, even though somewhat amateurishly executed, was conceived by your best friend.

Just as the obverse is true: a professionally planned batchelor party has a slight sense of creepiness to it because you had to pay money for someone to be a surrogate for your best friend.

Mind you, I am not talking about the batchelor parties that go REALLY bad, even though you are sure to talk about it for decades afterwards.

But the ones that a friend tries to tailor to the tastes of a friend and are a little flat in some parts...those are okay...:)

Also, the person doing it for a living...what if...they really just like doing it and have a good time no matter who they are with?

I read that story about Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots which somehow tickled my funny bone...he would hire himself out to parties (some woman’s 20th birthday or something like that) and would just hang out and...party He didn’t get mental, just had a beer in his hand, and talked to people as if he was just another big polish guy at a party.

He just liked it.

I think the woman’s friends paid $1000 for two hours of having him just attend the party. It really seemed quite humorous to me!
