If you think about it, it makes sense. The US military is now required to appease both Wiccans and Church of Satan believers, so why not pagan gods that demand children as burnt offerings?
All it takes is for them to rationalize abortion as offering children to their vile deity in exchange for wealth and the pleasures of the flesh. Why should they refuse to call out the name of their god?
