Oh noes! We're all going to die in some billion years. I don't believe a word of theoretical physisists who write on their white boards with their equations.

NO ONE has a friggin clue about the universe. Now they claim dark matter and recently dark energy can be parellel universes. Ask them to explain what became before the "singularity" for each universe (big bang) and listen to the crickets. They don't know sh*t.

If there is intelligence after death, the dead are the only ones who know. Personally, I think we die and become non-existent as we were before the sperm hit the egg. But then, maybe through years of mental growth, who knows if our conscience has developed to exist on another plane? Doubt it.

Bottom line: No physicist knows ANY facts of what existed before the "singularity". The above is why I'm not afraid of death. If I don't exist, similar to deep sleep or outside un-conscience trauma, then why should I be concerned? I wouldn't know that I don't exist.

My only bummer is that I enjoy so many aspects of life. But again, if not aware, how would I know I miss them?

Last thought: I don't believe in watchful god that needs to be worshipped, how petty. I believe the creator, which I believe in, behind the "singularity" did it for reasons that will never be known. CS. Lewis once said that god created the universe because he was lonely. Threw out a bunch on the big bang to see what could happen, while hoping something more would come of the gases, galazies, plantary systems.

When I was a child and reading SciFi fiction, I came to the conclusion that WE are energy parts of a god/universe. I believed that when we die, our energy (or souls to some) join that energy. We meld with the entity behind the universe and become part of it with or without conscience. Not so sure now, but I'll keep that theory open. Be cool to have a conscience entity that joins him.

Still, when we die and not aware we died, so what? If it's the end of conscience so be it. We won't know.

What if you do continue to exist? (Can anyone prove or disprove this?, No, but we all find out in time!)

“I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me....” (Jesus).

Thanks for your service.
