Although I personally believe that life begins at conception, I believe the last place the government needs to be is in the church, in the doctors office or in the bedroom. And so even people who advocate for less government intrusion, like Gov. Jindal, get themselves in the most personal decisions a family could ever make .
Some of the bills being passed around the country are just very intrusive to personal decisions and very harmful to women and girls, you know, to their physical health and life.
Its a shame 20 weeks is not the norm for being able to live outside of a hospital.
~ Louisiana Democrat Senator Mary Landrieu (hilariously referred to as a three-term centrist lawmaker with a nuanced position on abortion) criticizing Governor Bobby Jindals support of recent pro-life laws, Politico, June 12
Editor note: While supportive of (and very personally affected by) adoption, Landrieu has also been a strong advocate for abortion, with an abysmal 27% pro-life voting record.
This is the default Democrat position for 2014: "While I think abortion is the murder of an innocent baby - why should I stand in the way of someone who want to kill their child?"
Is this dweeb for real? The government is already in our bedrooms and doctors’ offices. I hope the good people of LA get rid of this idiot.
The total lack of regard for a helpless baby will always befuddle me.
No baby can “live outside the hospital” without someone taking care of it.
This is a basic element of the SLED argument.
No baby can live outside the hospital without someone taking care of it.

well except for those illegal aliens “babies” who mysteriously all by themselves have managed to crawl across our southern border...
The government is already in the church, in the doctors office and in the bedroom. The government takes millions of dollars from taxpayers to fund abortionists. The government heavily regulates every doctor in America. Abortionists are the least regulated though I don't consider them doctors.
The government intrudes in personal family life because of Democrats like Senator Landrieu.
It is only protecting innocent unborn babies that she is against.
Will she apply this rule to those on life support, such as kidney dialysis or in oxygen tents? Are we to start eliminating those cannot feed themselves next? Where is their line in the sand?
Yep, those 17 yr old “babies” are just kids in need of a home.
And Mary, if somebody had set you outside the hospital the day you were born.....?
So murder is acceptable as long as you are not the one doing it? I have always thought that those who hold this position are the worst of the worst.
That'll save the feral government a LOT of our money that's in their pockets!
“I believe the last place the government needs to be is in the church”
Is she helping those fighting against the HHS mandate? Is she vigorously speaking against it?
“in the doctor’s office”
Did she vote for ObamaCare?
“or in the bedroom”
Does she vote for funds for Planned Parenthood?
Does she vote for funds for sex education?
Does she vote for the gay agenda?
When government doesn’t work to protect innocent human life, government isn’t even doing its first duty.
“That means we can get rid of all the neonatal ICUs!”
Obamacare will do just that.
There is nothing more expensive than neonatal and geriatric care.
No, it really isn’t, Scary Mary.
And by that logic, is it also okay to abort children, adults and seniors who can’t live outside of hospitals?

Matthew 7:
13 Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because[a] narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
All these fools who think they can straddle the fence on abortion and still be Christians. They will not be among the “Few”.
What per cent of the people would equal a few?
50%? 40%? 30%? 20%? 10%? 3%? I was always taught that a couple was two, and three is a few. I would say 3%, but certainly not more than 10%.
Show me any baby that, all on it’s own, can live outside a hospital for more than about a week at best.
Ol’ Mary better be careful lest we apply the same standard to her when she gets old and infirm. You can see from Europe once abortion is accepted euthenasia is the next frontier for the death cultists.
