It should have never been played... Everyone was at the same disadvantage.
If it was Boris Diaw suffering from cramps NO ONE would care this morning.

Open the doors. Bring in fans.
There hasn’t always been AC for B-ball players.

I am a bit confused.
Did the entire arena not have AC or did the AC only work where the Spurs players happened to be standing, running and shooting, but not where the Miami players were?

Good point-—it was only LeBron that couldn’t play through the cramps. Its not his fault but if multiple players went down then we have a real storyline. sHeat happens.

When the season lasts 8 months, you just might have to play when it is hot.

Does anybody care?
I read a piece on ESPN or FOX yesterday: more people watched the THREE day NFL draft than watched the recent SEVEN game series featuring the mighty Lebron James.
As the writer said (paraphrase): More people tuned in to watch a guy stand at a podium and read names than did to watch a deciding playoff series.

As a Clevelander, my personal hatred for LeBron James clouds my judgment as I have been hoping Karma and a bus would hit him any time now. I am not even an NBA fan or viewer.

In football, the game is played whatever the conditions. Baseball is played in extreme heat. These basketball millionaire "slaves" can't stand a little heat? Just like they can't handle people saying things they don't agree with in the privacy of their own homes.
I hope basketball becomes the laughingstock of pro sports. Billionaires paying obscene amounts of money to buy a team so they can pay guys millions of dollars to dribble a basketall? Yuck.

Uh ... two teams played in that “sauna” and only one player had cramps. Most of the Spurs players are much older than “king” James too.

When they have teams in Texas, Georgia and Florida, you will definitely have to play in the heat.

WoW!
Oh the sacrifice, the humanity...really, a hot arena...must have been excruciating, I hope they get some extra pay for putting their life on the line to serve up some entertainment.
You mean these guys get paid millions of dollars to “play a game” in the heat...That’s a lot like an Army Private that gets paid $23,000 annually to serve in Afghanistan with his life on the line. Yeah, a lot like that.
Sorry, give a damn is busted...no tears shed here.

B-Ball was meant to be played outside on a cracked concrete court strewn with broken glass, with chaIned hoops, and dope dealers on the sidelines instead of beer vendors ...

Wow that’s a rather hispanic name for being totally afraid of heat. 90 degrees, BFD. It was 108 in Tucson yesterday and outdoor sports were played.
And no the outcome isn’t compromised, both teams played under the same conditions. Less than ideal conditions yes, but still the same. Toughen up, earn your game checks.

When the season lasts 8 months, you just might have to play when it is hot.82 games just seem like a bit much when more than half the teams get into the playoffs anyway. But I'm not a fan of pro basketball so they could play year around in the Mojave Desert for all I care. I heard recently they were slaves anyway.
