He didn't go in the homes. He wasn't there.
Bugliosi (who recently wrote a book calling President Bush a "war criminal") came up with a conspiracy theory involving a race war and a Beatles album so he could put Manson as the "mastermind" behind a series of killings some of his followers participated in.
And weren't some of the Manson family released?
