Two out-of-state teens accused of robbing an 80-year-old Slidell woman are behind bars after being chased down by two good Samaritans who witnessed the theft.
According to a statement from the Slidell Police department, Jacob Little and Jacob Pilkington - both from North Carolina - were arrested Friday (May 30) after police say they robbed the elderly woman in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart on Northshore Boulevard.
The duo, whose ages were not provided by authorities, were traveling to Texas to visit family members, but noticed they were low on gas so they decided to stop by the big box retailer with the intent of robbing someone for cash, police said.
The teens circled the parking lot in the Chrysler mini-van they were driving and stopped when they saw an elderly woman carrying groceries back to her car. Police said the pair approached the woman and yanked her purse out her hands before jumping back in their vehicle and fleeing.

LOL Props to the Good Samaritans. I guess that in addition to being “Good” they were also “gentle”. In any case, they got the job done—score two for the good guys.
Robber’s family will sue the good Samaritan for interfering.

The point is we don't know yet. And the sad thing is that the chance of accessing more information about them is almost nil, at this point and in the future.
But we can all hope.

Sounds like these two just hit the jack pot. Once a fine judge like John Edwards gets a hold of them that good Samaritan is gonna lose the shirt off his back.
