I think you’re making the homosexual case for them, the argument is ALMOST SIMILAR to what they would make with the exception that they wouldn’t call it cross-wire. They’d probably call it wired differently.
At any rate because they are ( as you said ), they would argue that they are BORN THAT WAY and there’s nothing they can do about it.
THEREFORE, their lifestyle should be treated as normally as anyone who was born genetically different.
I get that point, but my point was their brains get cross wired due to outside factors not the way they were born...
I'd love to see an honest study of the percentage of boys abused or molested by homosexuals at a young age who get imprinted by that event who become homosexuals ...
My guess would be a much higher number than the norm..
But the "therefore" doesn't follow from the predicate.

The question, as regards "out and proud" is, is it on the whole good, or on the whole bad, taking everything into consideration.
Thieves and alcoholics suffer terribly because of repression and disfavor. Composers and engineers enjoy a good life because their predilections are elevated and rewarded.
The choices a society makes about public homosexuality are of great importance and affect many things.
How its practitioners "are born" has zero to do with it.
