Maybe Kroger’s new theme could be: “We shall add no slime before it’s time.”
It’s frustrating and annoying that it is so difficult to get a straightforward answer to a simple question about their ground meat.
Not that many years ago I used to simply pick out a chuck roast and give it to the meat cutter to grind for me. I know exactly what I was getting.
I’m now buying my ground meat only from the local butcher. It’s “A” grade rather than choice, so it’s just a little leaner, but I don’t think that makes a difference in ground chuck.
