LOS ANGELES (AP) Casey Kasem was located in Washington state on Wednesday, three days after a Los Angeles judge expressed concerns about the ailing radio host's whereabouts and safety amid a dispute between his wife and children from another marriage.
Kasem's condition was not immediately known, although his children rejoiced after days of uncertainty and said in a statement that locating their father was the first step in bringing him back to the Los Angeles area.

Nobody cares about U2!
Does this mean he will be back doing America’s Top 40?
Performing a long distance dedication?
Just don’t ask him to do a story about a dead dog.
Don't even remember why, but he probably said some stupid liberal thing about something to do with common sense.
I had thought Kasem had died a couple of years ago.
I remember the days of American Top 40. Seems like ages ago.
Ryan Seacrest does that show now. Today’s music doesn’t interest me though. And Seacrest talks about the Kardashians and other celebrity gossip, rather than just sticking to the music.
You are probably thinking about the time Kasem went after the ABC animated Christmas special “The Little Drummer Boy” because he did not like the way that Arabs were portrayed in it.
He needn’t have worried. Since it also contains the Nativity of Jesus Christ, ABC quit airing it years ago, and likely will NEVER air it again.
A local radio station here plays Kasem’s AT40 shows from the 70’s. Generally the bottom 20 of those are really bad (my gosh, did Helen Reddy really chart that often??)
I gave up on AT40 when they would not stop playing Roberta Flack ad infinitum, among a handful of others.
...heard every week across the country and around the world on great radio stations like WIMP, Smithers, Delaware. KRAP, Pahrump, Nevada. WUSS, Cicero, Illinois, and ICUP2, Boogalanoogalana, New Guinea. Welcome aboard, and now on with the countdown.
And this dedication goes to Casey......
