Quinn and Rose are off the air, (temporarily, I hope!) Gone, but DEFINITELY not forgotten! Meanwhile, our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will meet in our usual spot - same time, same station - as we always have! So grab your coffee - or whatever you choose to start your day - and drop in for some political chit-chat, or just to shoot the breeze! We are all coming from - or going to - work, but we all stop in to say hi! Feel free to join us!
RONALD REAGAN
Good morning! Quinn posted on twitter yesterday:
Keep checking http://www.warroom.com for our next move #quinnandrose
(hat-tip to freeper westsylvania!)
Good morning n’@!
Yinz all be careful...bad thunderstorms again today around the Burgh. Wish we could give SanDiego our monsoon (those fires look scary!)
Quinn hasn’t tweeted yet today...and Mario hasn’t fired anyone...
On the upside, the Buccos won!
Good morning!
Ye! I saw that tweet! Maybe good news!
Plus while there is nothing confirmed an FM station owned by a church MAY be in talks to sell it. It only broadcasts Catholic Mass now but has a great signal. I work with someone who used to be the GM before church bought it and he clued me in.
If WPGB dumps talk Rush and the rest could very well go there. It has a powerful signal and great Pittsburgh coverage
Just sayin’...
Wouldn’t that be great!!!
Oh please God, please God, please God! (eyes scrunched shut and hands folded in desperate prayer!)
I know - don’t get too excited! But I’ll keep praying!
Doing the same thing here...been six LONG months!
And Rush is the Children’s Book Council author of the year!
That has to have the left’s panties knotted up!
That’s GREAT news about Rush’s books! Coincidentally, just last night, I saved both books to my wish list on Amazon.com.
They’ll make a wonderful grandbaby gift!
Ha! My thought as well! Start her out RIGHT! :-))
Wow, really?
St. Joseph Missions is willing to sell 106.7?
I’m stunned. They seemed like hard-core true believers who had bottomless pits of money and the intent to program three stations with nothing but inside-baseball stuff for Latin Mass Catholics from now until the Second Coming.
I believe they changed the station’s license to “noncommercial”. Is that a roadblock in any way?
Yes, and there may be other problems. It’s all just rumor now but who knows...
I was just listening to that station as I was driving to Sheetz for lunch. I guess I’m one of the ‘true believers’ (and a Latin Mass Catholic no less). But I don’t know abut the bottomless pits of money, as I’m living from paycheck to paycheck! LOL!
Some guy in our office right now. Most of our staff just had their picture taken with him. didn’t get his name, but he graduated from our local high school last year and, apparently, was on a tv show called x factor. I didn’t bother get my picture with him, but I wish him luck, whoever he is. I’ll post the name if I get it.
I guess my issue with them is that with 3 radio stations they have a tremendous tool for evangelization and spreading the Catholic faith. But they present it in such a way that I doubt many non-Catholics will listen for more than a couple of minutes.
There’s plenty of Catholic Radio stations to listen to - especially online. I’d rather have a really good conservative radio lineup like Quin & Rose, Rush, Levin, etc.
Best of both worlds IMHO! We need the conservative voice in Western Pa.
