The guy next to me was shaking when we got done.

I was laughing and clapping.

He said I’m crazy.

Back in line.....

We were TOASTED after drinking 6 x 24oz beer specials.

And still standing? Commendable!

Do some women express this desire for risk/thrills by being attracted to “bad boys?”

Some women are strongly drawn to men who are more than a little like going to bed with a tiger.

Thats only a 12 pack. Certainly drunk but far from ‘still standing’. At least from what I remember from my drunk years ;)

When I was 18, I took a couple of static-line jumps and rode a mechanical bull (this was during the Urban Cowboy craze). I’m not a risk-taker by nature, but my 18 year old hormones overrode even my mild nature.

This is also why Nations use 17-18 year olds as their soldiers in armies. We old farts know better than to run around getting shot at and we don't recuperate very fast. Teenagers aren't afraid to do crazy things and they believe they'll live forever.

Don't forget that Hell's Angels was started by WW II vets who couldn't handle the confining regimented life of post-war America.

I think the real reason they use 18 and 20 year olds is because they are available and healthy, not tied to careers and families, and not over 40.

The women skydivers I knew were all quite intelligent and none with “bad boys.” They had sense enough to avoid them. The guys I knew women with were designing gear, doing film work,tv,teaching the sport, etc. “Bad boys” were pretty looked down on. I’m married to an ex-Mormon who’s a 727 captain for a VIP. Of course with pilots they tend to be “bad boys” in a different way. My husband hasn’t set any bars on fire, gotten crew kicked out of hotels, etc., however he did make a Delta captain cry once.

It’s been years, great memories. I acquired my expert license so as to leap from El Capitan. As luck would have it they forbade that just as I was planning the trip. About 300 jumps, over 2 hrs freefall, last jump in 1983 or 4 or so.

Saw the remains of the hangar in Fandango yesterday. Some vermin burned it a few years ago and just the outer wall frames left. Rattlesnake Field is almost all gone.

80’s was when I was skydiving, just a baby though with 95 jumps. Got married & got pregnant. End of my skydiving career. Sure was fun. Boogies at Skydive Arizona, DC3’s.

Don’t think I could handle a BASE jump.

Meant to get back to you.

While waiting to get back on Top Gun noticed Levi’s Stadium lit up.

Looked awesome and beautiful.
