Look at what we have today that was used in Star Trek, the original with James T. Kirk. The flip phone for one. Flat screen TV for another.

Flat screen for viewing monitors on decks but in the rooms they had bulky consoles.

Just as a point of reference, the “flip phone” is considered so far outdated now as to be laughable.

Yeah...and were still stuck with Kirk(shatner) doing Priceline commercials with that blond from the Big Bang show...

It must have been Spock’s fault....his messing with red matter messed up time...”for all time”!
