I lived there for two years. One day I tried to rent a nail gun to speed up a project I was working on. The rental store clerk asked to see my state pistol permit. No joke. Under state law you had to have a pistol permit to buy or rent a nail gun. This was around 1986.
What about people who might be driving vehicles that have pyrotechnic seat belt tensioners?
