Now they have a PB reference? I love those girls. Even if that was too much apologizing for flowery.

Well, going by my Pool bracket I have Anaheim over Boston for the ‘Cup ... I did want to see Montreal do well in the East, but I was a bit disappointed in the sweep of Tampa – I’d rather see longer, well-played series’ in the playoffs. The same holds RE Pittsburgh vs. Columbus; no dog in that fight, but I’m glad it’s proving to be very competitive. And even though I think the Ducks will eventually come out on top in their match, I’m rooting for our ex-coach Lindy Ruff now with Dallas.

I’m rooting for STL just because I like Captain Kangaroo. And I dislike so many of the other teams. I want to see every series go to 7 because I don’t want hockey to end.

Until Obama came along, this was the world's biggest pusillanimous pussy:

Also pulling for Sabres’ alums Ryan Miller & Steve Ott to do well with the Blues, although I have do Chicago coming out on top after a tough 7-game series.

Obama marched his minions out
To issue his latest dire threat-
He’s going to crank sanctions up
Take that, Russia-don’t forget

He is the king of a country,
But only in his empty head-
He thinks he’s a badass, but
He’s pusillanimous instead

Even the left is wavering in
The belief that he is cool-
They wanted a liberal Reagan
They got a Carter-like fool...

I wish the Holy Father could somehow understand that much of the press does not have any goodwill for him, the Church or anyone who is a Christian or a Jew-they just want to interpret his words for their false advertising.

MrT5 and I were both divorced, were married to one another by a priest and went to mass and communion. I still do. It is not an act of protest or anything else that complicated to me, it is just something I do because I have loved God all my life-I can’t speak for anyone else.

Just before midnight, I put the blue glass pebbles back on the step of the deck, but all three in a row. No lights or alarms were tripped. This morning at 6, they were still there, just moved around a bit, but not in any order-like a raccoon or one of the neighbors’ cats had been batting them. It is just an interesting mystery...

Yes it is either naïveté or intentional stirring of the waters.

This series with the Blue Jackets is getting ridiculous now. Every game is 4-3. Every game the team that scores first loses. Every game has the losing team blow a 3-1 lead.

At first I thought you were talking about the Wookie and then saw you meant the author. David Gregory has also been a pompous windbag. They were foolish to give such an unlikeable personality a mike and a time slot. Remember his snotty attitude about being able to speak French? As if that is even useful, unless you’re a Canadian hockey coach?

Thanks-that addresses the issue in a concise way. I don’t see how a private conversation between the pope and anyone at all is anyone’s business. Should anyone fortunate enough to speak to him be spooked about doing so now-will some little newstroll be listening? Maybe press should be kept out of anything of a personal nature.

My compadre is meeting with a manufacturer’s rep, and the phone calls are forwarded to me-so I’ve had time to research a solution to this long past prime A/C system that will benefit everyone concerned-I found a less expensive one that will be an energy saver...

And didn’t adopt the city colors until 1980.

Ha! The year after this cover; they were sick of not being part of the party...
