Warm enough in the Houston suburbs on Saturday to turn the a/c on. Then Monday came, wind gusts up to 40 mph and lots of rain. Finally gave up and turned the heat on last night when it hit 38 degrees outside. Maybe not cold to you all but this is pure ridiculous for our part of the country in mid-April.

It was 81°F here yesterday and I did have the AC on for a while, to get some of the humidity out of the condo; now, I have the heat on and temps have dropped another 3°F in 30mins, to 35. We usually have ice storms in April, and I remember 2" of snow on May 2nd, 1996, when tender field crops took a real beating. Mother Nature's in charge; we're just along for the ride.

LOL....I was too lazy to get up and turn the heater on. I just grabbed another quilt and toughed it out ;) It warmed up nicely, though...what a gorgeous day.
