Gandalf’s horse Shadowfax from the Lord of the Rings films has died.

The famous horse, called Blanco, had been ill for some time and owner Cynthia Royal made the decision to have him put down.

Horses live for a long time,2 or 3 times as long as a dog.When an animal is a part of your life for so long,it’s hard to let go.I know,I’ve been there.
