I like that dog. He’d make a good “quad dog” on a college campus. Semi-wild, but a friend to all.

The dog looks a lot like my first dog, a half Collie, half German Shepherd that was given to my brother and me. He was incredibly intelligent and would do just about anything, herd cattle or hogs, tree squirrels, track people, kill venomous snakes, he was truly amazing.

Poor thing has probably spent its life cooped up in a high rise apartment. Free at last!
Anyone here know how far that is?
Mott haven jct to the bridge is about 3/4 of a mile.
“The pup began galloping alongside the train on a parallel track starting at the Mott Haven Junction stop in the Bronx all the way to 125th Street in Harlem, or about 6 miles.”

Mott haven junction isn’t a stop unless you are an employee, and it is not 6 miles away from 125th street.
This reporter should be fired for making shit up. It is a cool story... No reason to “Hollywood” it.
Perhaps you have not noticed but Free Republic has language standards. Keep your vulgarity to yourself. If you are so lacking in the effective use of the English language, consult a thesaurus.
Sometimes people really are wonderful. What a pretty little girl.
Adorable dog!
She’d obviously formulated this plan in order to find herself some new parents.
Clever dog.
:)
She looks like a Shetland Sheep Dog. I had one growing up. They love to run and can turn on a dime. Excellent herding dogs.
I've also been around long enough to notice that you may be one of the most condescending people on this forum. If you don't like how I say something, move on. Don't try to correct me like I'm a six year old.
We are all adults here, and don't need a hall monitor.
